Hi, I am Janice.

I began my real journey into photography while attending the journalism program at SAIT, in Calgary, Alberta, in 2004. While taking some photojournalism specific courses, I grew to love my camera and dedicated myself to learning as much as I could. After graduating from the journalism program in 2006, I returned to my hometown of St. Paul, Alberta, where I began working as a journalist at the weekly newspaper.

My husband and I now have two beautiful boys and I continue to work in the newspaper industry, while also running a photography business complete with a studio space (located within the County of St. Paul).

I love journalism and portrait photography, and I count myself very lucky to have two careers that I equally enjoy.
